MapSlayers LLC provides Site Layer Pro, a plugin for Civil 3D and a standalone Windows desktop app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how users can request deletion or revoke consent.

Data We Collect

Site Layer Pro collects only the information needed to provide licensing, activation, support, and product operation.

• Account and licensing information, such as name, email address, company name if provided, license key, selected license type, selected states or modules, purchase or trial status, activation status, and support communications.
• Activation and device information, such as a machine or installation identifier, app version, activation date, and basic diagnostic information needed to validate licenses and prevent license abuse.
• Payment-related records when a purchase is made. Payment card or bank details are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by Site Layer Pro.
• Operational server logs, such as IP address, request time, API endpoint, response status, and security/audit events related to licensing and activation.
• Public GIS request information needed to retrieve selected public data layers. Area-of-interest geometry and selected layer information may be used by the app to request data from public agency services and to generate local output files.

How Data Is Used

We use collected data to issue and manage licenses, activate the app, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain security, process purchases or trials, improve reliability, and operate Site Layer Pro services. We do not sell personal information.

Third Parties

We may share data with service providers only as needed to operate Site Layer Pro. These providers are expected to protect data consistently with this policy and use it only to provide services to MapSlayers LLC.

• Payment processors for purchase and subscription processing.
• Email providers for license delivery, account messages, and support communications.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers for the Site Layer Pro licensing server and website.
• Public GIS, map, imagery, and agency data services when users choose to retrieve public data layers through the app.

Retention

We retain account, license, purchase, activation, and audit records for as long as needed to provide the product, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce license terms. Support emails and operational logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, diagnostics, and business records.

Deletion and Revocation

Users may request deletion of personal data, cancellation of an account or trial, deactivation of a license activation, or revocation of consent by contacting admin@mapslayers.com. Some records may be retained when required for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Users can stop app data collection by uninstalling Site Layer Pro, not activating a license, or discontinuing use of the app and related services.
